Attacked and shot down by two Bf 109 F-4 of 5.JG 5, based at Nautsi in Finland. The Russian bombers were on a mission to bomb Banak airfield at Lakselv. Both men onboard managed to bail out. Lt. Gennadij Ivanovich Shirjaev (KIA). JLt.Viktor Gavrilovich Judin was caught by the Germans at the Russian side of the border on 27.September and became POW. 3. SNo 40103 at Suonjirgaisa, Finnmark in Norway.
4. SNo 40106 at Kauhalahti (Partakko) Inari in Finland.
