III./7./KG 40 WNr.0163 F8+ES 11.10 1944
Took off from Banak at 07.10 and landed 45 minutes later at Kaamaanen in Finland where they fetched 34 passengers. After landing at Banak again, 15 more passengers, mainly Lw.Helferinen were loaded on board. The Condor now took off for Værnes, Trondheim with a crew of five and fourty six passengers, but at 12.45 above Lavangen, the tail broke off from the heavily loaded Condor and it crashed into the fjord with the loss of all 51 on board. 41 bodies were later recovered from the sea.
