Damaged by Colt fire from Nils Langbak, a gunner from the sunken ship "Selis." The aircraft crashed and exploded after hitting a suspended steel tram wire from the coalmines, when they tried to force land. Pilot: Lt. Heinz Wagner. Reg.Rat Erich W. Etienne. (Meteorologist) Uffz.Heinrich Voss. (Radio/Engineer). Maj I. Genst. Vollrath Wiebel. (Luftflotte 5). All were killed in crash.

The crew were buried in separate graves, close to the crash site. The bodies were later exhumed and reburied at the German War Cemetery in Botn, Rognan
