Took off from Shepards Grove airfield, heading for drop zone 318 near Damtjern, 15km nort of Kragerø. LJ-888 crossed the coast west of Tvedestrand, where it was attacked by Ju.88 and Bf.110 night fighters equipped with radar. The aircraft caught fire and crashed here at Bråstad.
